Barminco with this project have consolidated their three previous sites into one – their company offices, their mine site supply depot and their maintenance workshop.
The new premises are a dramatic presence at the corner of Talbot Road and Stirling Crescent.
The new 2000m² office building (which is located away from the ‘glamour’ of a St Georges Terrace address) is of a high standard and provides significant amenity to employees in order to retain their expertise. That extends from the generosity of large individual workstations and offices, high ceilings and excellent air conditioning to a private gymnasium and Work Café providing cooked meals. A child care facility is under consideration. The office building is planned as a courtyard building with all four wings looking into lushly landscaped gardens with water feature, gazebos and outdoor living areas.
