St Andrews is a BER (Building the Educational Revolution) project, funded through Catholic Education and the Federal Government’s Economic Stimulus Package. As with other such projects its design and documentation were fast-tracked to meet funding deadlines.

In keeping with the design of the existing primary school buildings, the building features thick rammed earth walls with a steel framed roof and verandas.
