Located next to Linneys Pearls in the heart of Chinatown this mixed use development consists of a ground floor retail component, which includes a cafe/restaurant with an alfresco terrace and a first floor office space, which includes a full fit-out for a media group in addition to a manager’s apartment.

Specific design solutions for this project included:

• Requisite sound proofing, as the media group includes a radio station, to mitigate the noise of overhead air traffic;
• Designing within with the strict Chinatown design guidelines which control building form and materials; and
• Employing operable louvre windows to passively cool the building by using the prevailing westerly breezes.
